It was a genuine honour to be invited as an occasional speaker and entrusted with addressing the graduating class of tomorrow’s chiropractors and physiotherapists. It is a role of real distinction within the ceremony, reserved for those asked to speak at a defining moment in the life of the university and its graduates.
Having attended many university graduation ceremonies, I’m always struck by the significance of the occasion. To experience it from within Macquarie University, to join the academic procession, and to see the care taken behind the scenes deepened my respect for the rigour and thoughtfulness with which each graduate is recognised.
It was a privilege to share the day alongside academic staff and university leaders whose warmth and stewardship shaped such a memorable celebration.
